Have you seen it on social media? The call to Shop Small, Shop Local this Saturday, November 28, 2015.
It’s called Small Business Saturday® – a push to encourage residents to give the small businesses in their own communities some of their holiday shopping consumer dollars…. a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities
The Snoqualmie Valley is full of small (and local) businesses…. just waiting to show residents wheat they’re all about.
So, during a weekend seemingly dedicated to consumerism and the launch of the 2015 Holiday Shopping Season, remember these local businesses.
They don’t require you to battle frenzied shoppers, crowded parking lots and traffic backups near shopping malls.
They’re right here, many run by Snoqualmie Valley residents, and they strive to offer unique options, friendly faces and low-stress holiday shopping.
And if you get hungry, stroll a few doors down and grab some calories at a local restaurant, which are sure to have shorter lines than the food court or mall eateries.
So this Saturday, slow down. Consider it a post Black Friday shopping intervention. See your own town decorated for the holidays. Chat with local shop owners.
Give it a shot. You never know… maybe you’ll never want to hit the mall again.
Good Luck Snoqualmie Valley Small Businesses!
