Ridge Intersection Closed for Winter Magic Ice Rink
The City of Snoqualmie announced on Monday that the intersection of Center Blvd SE and SE Ridge St will be closed from December 21, 2015 through January 5, 2016 for the Winter Magic ice rink event.
Crews relocated synthetic ice rink that had been in downtown Snoqualmie for the past 10 days to the amphitheater in the Center Blvd and Ridge Street retail area. It opens in the new location on December 22nd.
The city said drivers can use Borden Ave SE and Baker Ave SE as detours. Drivers are also encouraged to drive slowly on side streets and to use back parking lots when accessing businesses located near the ice rink.
Please see Winter Magic Ice Rink Hours of Operation and Prices (includes skate rental) below.
Mudslide Closes City Trail
The City also announced thatrRecent flooding caused a mudslide on the trail that connects the Deep Creek Trail and the Whitaker Trail on Snoqualmie Ridge. The closure is 0.12 miles long and makes this section of trail impassable.
Detour signs are placed at the trailheads and at the trail closure points. The Snoqualmie Parks Division will be working to open that trail section.
Comments
Metro bus loop cancelled through the Ridge – single stop out on the Parkway by Key Bank apparently.
