Need a night off from cooking? Craving some Mexican food? Then head to Ana’s next Tuesday and have that meal out benefit local kids.
The Snoqualmie Valley YMCA is teaming up with Ana’s Mexican Restaurant once again, as the annual ‘Dine Out For A Cause’ event returns. Come out to Ana’s this Tuesday, March 8th, from 5:30-8PM to help the Y work towards their $75,600 fundraising campaign goal.
All you have to do to help out is order regular enchiladas (red sauce) or enchiladas suiza (green sauce), and proceeds from these purchases will be donated by Ana’s to the YMCA’s annual Partners With Youth campaign, which raises money to fund programming and summer camp scholarships to families who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford it. In fact, 50 Snoqualmie Valley kids went to Camp Orkila last summer thanks to this fundraiser.
Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson, Chief of Police Steve McCulley, Fire Chief Mark Correira, and Parks and Public Works Director Dan Marcinko will all be there once again to greet and serve you and your family as you dine out, learn more about our local YMCA, and help fund scholarships for local families.
And my mom (Living Snoqualmie owner) will also be working the event again this year, volunteering as Ana’s hostess for the night – and rekindling her days of working in a restaurant when I was a baby.
This event has been highly attended in the past and helped our local YMCA to raise thousands of dollars to help Snoqualmie Valley children. I hope we continue that this year!
Ana’s Family Style Mexican Restaurant is located at 7713 Center Blvd in the Snoqualmie Ridge retail area.
