California-based BevMo!, retailer of mostly alcoholic beverages, opened its 10th Washington State store Friday, September 27, 2013, in Issaquah’s new retail center, Grand Ridge Plaza, in the Issaquah Highlands.
A line of people stretched around the block when the store officially opened for business this morning, as the first 500 people in line were given gift bags containing $50 worth of store merchandise.
According to the Issaquah Press, demonstrations and tastings from major spirit retailers will be happening all weekend. This weekend also marks BevMo’s one year anniversary of doing business Washington State.
The Issaquah BevMo! is located at 901 NE Park Drive.
Many other businesses will be opening in Grand Ridge Plaza in the coming months, including a Safeway with a fuel station, Dick Sporting Goods, Marshalls, Starbucks and more.
