Verizon Retailer Coming to Snoqualmie Ridge
Mathnasium closed its doors on Snoqualmie Ridge and it looks like a new business is taking over that spot in the very near future.
According to the City of Snoqualmie Planning Department, during September, Moorehead Communications applied for new business license for five employees.
On Monday, October 20, 2014, a new sign was being installed on the retail space located at 7802 Center Blvd SE. Moorehead Communications owns The Cellular Connection (TCC) and according to its website, “the largest Verizon Premium Wireless Retailer in the U.S. with more than 550 locations across the country.” TCC also has nearby locations in Bellevue and Maple Valley.
It has been a few years since the Snoqualmie Ridge Marketplace area has had any type of retail sales businesses, outside of the Ridge IGA Supermarket. The area is mostly home to restaurants, doctors and dentist offices and other service-based businesses.
During early development years, there was a florist/gift shop, kitchen and home store, a toy store and various children and women’s clothing stores located in the retail area of Snoqualmie Ridge. Those businesses either relocated or closed.
Replicator Graphics Relocates, Hair Ink to Replace
At the end of September, Replicator Graphics vacated its retail space on North Bend Way in downtown North Bend, relocating to their former location in Old Si View at 820 Riverside Dr SE.
Taking Replicator Graphic’s spot is one of their customers, Hair Ink, which is currently located at 43438 SE North Bend Way.
According to the Hair Ink Facebook page, they are in need of a bigger space to accommodate their rapid business growth.
Hair Ink is expected to open in the new spot next to North Bend Bar and Grill on November 1, 2014.
