Some new businesses are popping up in the Snoqualmie Valley – just in time for summer.
On North Bend Way, in a small space near bustling Pioneer Coffee, a new wine shop called Wildflower Wine Shop opened last week. I haven’t been yet, but according to their website, Wildflower is focusing on Washington wines.
And it’s not just a wine shop – more like a wine bar it seems. They serve and sell Washington State wine and a “fresh, local, organic menu.” Their website says the core menu is very traditional with foods that compliment wine like hummus, fruits and vegetables, cheese and meat platters, wraps, bruschetta, salad and homemade soups.
They owners also plan to utilize a seasonal menu – and change the menu up as the seasons change. They also have a PB&J on the menu for the kiddos – and dessert options, too.
For more info visit wildflowerwineshop.com or their Facebook page.

New Pet Services in Snoqualmie
Meanwhile, in Snoqualmie, it looks like two new pet service options are heading to town.
Across from the Snoqualmie Fire Station on Better Way SE, it appears a new veterinary clinic is going in – Salish Veterinary Hospital. A new sign is over the door and some work looks to be starting on the interior. The location is the former home of Kumon Learning Center.
Up the hill just a bit on Center Blvd in the Snoqualmie Ridge Retail area, it looks like a dog groomer will be putting down some roots in the the former home of Seattle Suntan.
There’s a sign in the window announcing “Dog Spaw, 2 Hour Grooms” opening soon – cute name, too.
Good Luck to these new Snoqualmie Valley businesses!!
