The Snoqualmie Police Department hasn’t released a ‘blotter report’ in a couple of weeks, but did take to social media to provide some details about a busy weekend – more specifically a busy Saturday, July 27, 2019.
SPD said day shift officers in North Bend and Snoqualmie bounced from call to call on Saturday and combined to make nine arrests. They said none of those arrested were local residents.
Snoqualmie arrests included one person with a suspended license, possession of methamphetamine/heroin paraphernalia, possession of stolen access cards. The person’s car was also impounded so officers could seek a search warrant.
Another person was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Puyallup Police Department for theft and also for possession of stolen property from a burglary.
A third person was arrested for driving with a suspended license, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and a fourth person was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
The fifth arrest was multi-faceted: vehicle prowl, malicious mischief, driving with a suspended license, cancelled vehicle title, fraud, possession of a dangerous weapon. That person was caught trying to use stolen credit cards after the vehicle prowl and also had warrants for criminal solicitation and possession of stolen property. The sixth person was arrested with the person #5 on a possession of stolen property warrant.
Meanwhile in North Bend, a subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia/ methamphetamine and a trip permit violation. SPD reported they’ve recently seen a lot of trip permit violations – which allow you to operate an unlicensed vehicles on public highways. Forged trip permits are illegal.
Another person was booked into jail for 4th degree domestic violence/assault. Wrapping up the Saturday day shift arrests was a subject booked into jail for violating a domestic violence protection order.
Snoqualmie Police reported that the night shift was “a little less busy” with miscellaneous calls, including a commercial burglary caught in progress at 436th Ave SE and Cedar Falls Way in North Bend.
