1st annual Swing Rock: Snoqualmie Valley Women in Arts Tour

Let this unique tour give mom just what she wants for Mother’s Day – enjoying quality family time with arts, flowers & farm fresh food

Among the top gifts most mothers really love for Mothers Day are spending fun time with family; flowers; and sitting down together for a meal that she doesn’t have to cook or clean up afterward.

Swing Rock: Snoqualmie River Valley Women in Arts Tour offers an opportunity to fulfill all of mom’s top wishes. The event runs Saturday & Sunday May 9th and 10th from 12PM – 5PM, and guides visitors through a festive trail of lush Snoqualmie Valley landscapes, shopping among unique handcrafted gifts and fresh picked flowers; and dining on farm fresh bounty.

The centerpiece of this event is a cultural arts showcase hosted by women-owned and managed venues located along the back roads of North Bend, Snoqualmie and Carnation.

This regional showcase includes a wood carving studio tour, live music, visual art exhibits, artisan craft shows, storytelling, local food, wine and root beer tasting, and a mother’s day card crafting party for kids.

Also included in the event is a complimentary bus tour along scenic highways 202 and 203 on Saturday, May 9th from 2PM – 5PM. The bus leaves North Bend at 2PM with hour-long stops in Snoqualmie and Carnation before returning to North Bend.

Personal tour guides will join passengers to share local folklore, point out historic landmarks; and provide information about the farmers and artisan food and beverage crafters who contribute to the Valley’s burgeoning homegrown and handcrafted culture.

For more information visit www.smartcrowdz.com/swingrock.  Reservations are highly recommended.
