It is with great sadness the family of Zachary Roy Solomon, 31, announces his passing after complications with his brain injury, on Friday, December 28th 2018, at his home in Lynnwood, Washington. His celebration of life will be held Saturday January 26th 2pm at Snoqualmie Valley Alliance Church, Fall City, Washington followed by a reception service at the Moose Lodge in North Bend Washington.
Zachary was born on December 15th, 1987 in Redmond, Washington to Gene and Michelle Solomon. He spent his child and teenaged years growing up and stirring up excitement in the Snoqualmie valley with his countless friends. His love for sports led him to play in various levels of baseball from 1992-2008, including little league teams, a high school team and select baseball teams.
Zac graduated from Mount Si High School in 2006 and shortly after went to work at the Snoqualmie Casino where he continued and fell more in love with a passion for culinary arts. He turned this passion into a profession, working his way up to lead Sushi Chef at 12 Moons. After realizing he was cut out for the business, Zach decided to attend Le Cordon Bleu to obtain a degree in Business administration and in 2015 he graduated with this degree.
In October of 2011, Zach and girlfriend Mia welcomed their beautiful son Geno Cale Vyzis-Solomon. Zach’s love for Geno drove him to be the best father he possibly could. It was rare to see them separated and the love they had for one another was a lovely thing to witness.
On September 21, 2015 Zach was in a horrible head-on collision with a school bus where he suffered irreversible brain damage and required 24/7 care. In 2017, after a year and a half of struggling to find someone who could love and care for Zachary the way Geno and Michelle would, our prayers were answered when caregivers Don and Lanelle came into our lives. They are truly angels who were sent from heaven that instantly had a connection with Zach. They cared for and loved him from the moment they met him through his death and the Solomon family is forever grateful for their selflessness.
Zach is survived by his parents, Gene and Michelle Solomon; mother of his son, Mia Vyzis, son Geno Vyzis-Solomon; sister, Alexandria Solomon; brothers, Christopher Solomon and Matthew (Starla) Snyder; niece, Shelby and nephew, Diezel.
