What a transformation! Roughly three years after its passage, the vision of Si View Parks District’s 2010 renovation bond is now a reality. The once aging, run-down park, is now a community jewel, benefiting Snoqualmie Valley residents for years to come.
The project includes two new playgrounds, complete with zip line, climbing rock, basketball court, picnic shelter, new restrooms, and all connected to a new walking path around the park.
Si View Community Center and Park renovation projects are officially complete. The large community park is looking gorgeous and ready for the public to enjoy. Officials are inviting the community to join them in celebrating this Si View Metropolitan Park District milestone, Thursday, June 27, 2013. The ribbon cutting ceremony starts at 4PM and also coincides with the 75th Anniversary of Si View Park & Pool.
Along with the 2010 Si View Community Center Preservation and Parks Improvement Bond, renovations were also funded by a generous King County Youth Sports Facilities Grant and the Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer Association.
Stop by today and tour the new park grounds and also enjoy the North Bend Farmers Market, with live music by Cherie Blues beginning at 6pm.
