Day out with Thomas tickets selling out fast, still some trains available for kid favorite summer event

All aboard! According to the Northwest Railway Museum, ten trains for the always popular Day out with Thomas event have already sold out and tickets are going fast. The annual event brings thousands of visitors to the Snoqualmie Valley each summer.

Thomas the Tank Engine invites little engineers to join him for a day of friendship and family fun at Day Out with Thomas: The Friendship Tour 2017. Children everywhere can spend the day with their friend Thomas when the #1 Engine pulls into The Northwest Railway Museum on July 14th-16th AND July 21st- 23rd.

This fun-filled event offers children and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series. In addition, they will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities. The tour, now in its 22nd year, will make 42 stops across the U.S. and Canada and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2017.

In celebration of this year’s theme, Day Out With Thomas: The Friendship Tour 2017 will feature an array of friendship-inspired activities. Attendees will be able to participate in events that encourage and celebrate friendship including photo opportunities, crafts, and a fun activity that invites kids to collect passport stamps throughout the day to receive a trio of Day Out With Thomas friendship bracelets.

 

Day out with Thomas activities include:

  • 25-minute (approximate) ride with a talking Thomas the Tank Engine
  • Meet & Greet with Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway
  • Thomas & Friends Imagination Station featuring a variety of activities
  • Fun, friendship themed activities including crafts, photo opps, friendship bracelet giveaways, and more
  • Storytelling, video viewing and live music!
