Fall City Fire District temporarily changes outdoor burning rules

Effective May 1, 2020, Fall City Fire District 27 said it would allow residential outdoor burning to occur in all areas of the District until June 15th when the seasonal summer burn ban goes into effect.

The Fall City Fire Department said this temporary rule change was made “due to the closure of Rainier Recycling and in response to numerous citizen requests to allow a reasonable and economical method for disposing of clippings, branches, and organic debris.”

Reminder: A permit is required for residential outdoor burning.

Due to current social distancing requirements, that required burn permit can be obtained by calling the Fall City Fire Department at
425-222-5841.
