There’s lots of holiday happenings on Saturday, December 3, 2016. From tree lightings to holiday markets, if you weren’t in the holiday spirit yet, chances are you will be by the end of the weekend!
The 17th annual Fall City Holiday Market runs from 10AM to 3PM at Chief Kanim Middle School, with LOTS of local artisans offering products.
The holiday market is followed by the annual Fall City Tree Lighting which actually starts at 4PM in the Fall City ES gymnasium. Santa will be there with his sleigh, along with musical performances by the Fall City ES chorus and Chief Kanim ensemble. After the music, you can just stroll to Taylor Quigley Park to light up the trees!
Si View Parks is also hosting its 13th annual Holiday Bazaar on December 3rd from 10AM to 3PM at Si View Community Center. Over 40 vendors will be offering unique gift options. Holiday treats will be available to feed your sweet tooth, along with great holiday music.
Then the City of North Bend officially kicks off the Holiday Season at the North Bend Holiday Festival on Saturday, December 3rd from 4PM to 7PM at Mt Si Senior Center, 411 Main Avenue South.
The community is invited to grab the whole family for a fun-filled afternoon and evening with music, entertainment, fire pit, refreshments, children’s activities, photo opportunities with Santa, a holiday tree-lighting ceremony and a traditional community sing-along in downtown North Bend.

You can also join us for The Messa Group’s first Annual “Santa Experience” on Saturday, December 3rd from 5-7pm. The event is being held at Umpqua Bank’s Community Room in North Bend.
Kids – or the whole family – can visit with Santa and have their picture taken by photographer Bob Gassen and receive a free digital image.
There will also be drinks and treats for all who attend. Organizers ask is that you bring at least one item to donate to the Mt. Si Food Bank.
Donations for the Mt. Si Food Bank will also be collected at the Messa’s 3rd annual Animated Christmas Light Display located at 1730 Tannerwood Way SE in North Bend until the end of the month. The whole community is invited to witness the holiday magic of a reindeer that sings as lights dance to a variety of holiday songs.
Snoqualmie Valley Alliance is also hosting a fun, family holiday-inspired movie night.
The community movie night happens after the Fall City Tree Lighting – 6:30PM. There’s even an elf dress up costume, along with treats, Carole’s and crafts.
