A recent business sale is bringing local ownership back to Finaghty’s Irish Pub on Snoqualmie Ridge – along with some noticeable changes inside the Snoqualmie establishment.
Snoqualmie residents Adrian Webb and Amanda Stoffel are taking over the helm and are the third owners since Finaghty’s opened in 2008. The pair come with extensive restaurant experience. In fact, they actually met while working in the same restaurant in Las Vegas. Adrian also previously managed a large sushi restaurant on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood for many years.
Adrian is a first generation Irish. His parents left Ireland just before he was born so the opportunity to own an Irish pub in his own neighborhood was too great to pass up.
Adrian also owns a mortgage company so Amanda is taking on a lot of the day-to day-management duties of the business. And she’s made a lot of changes in a short time: new TVs, new paint, new POS system. Probably the most noticeable change is the enhanced menu – complete with higher quality ingredients.
Later this week they’re mounting two new TVs to use for digital signage to advertise specials and upcoming events. They also recently installed a new music/media system and plan to do cult movie and other theme music nights.
Adrian and Amanda are excited about a number of new menu items that will be coming soon, including Adrian’s mom’s Irish Coffee recipe. In a few weeks they will also celebrate the Irish New Year – meaning Finaghty’s will celebrate New Years eight hours early – at 4PM West Coast time -with live music and specials.
The couple is working hard on the improvements and said they truly just look forward to making the place a great staple of the community that they have grown to love.
Having tried Finaghty’s twice since Adrian and Amanda took over, I can vouch for the improved menu and higher quality ingredients. The new wings are almost twice the size they were and my salad was also delicious. And kudos on the new gray paint!
Good Luck!
