February 27th
At 5:09PM Snoqualmie Firefighters assisted other Eastside units with scene control for a westbound I-90, two car motor vehicle accident.
At 11:46PM Snoqualmie Firefighters were dispatched to a car fire on Eastbound I-90 at SR 18. On arrival, crews found a Subaru Forester with smoke coming from under the hood and driver in the road. Firefighters extinguished the fire and contained it to the engine compartment. Driver was transported to Harborview Medical Center.
February 28th
At 5:38PM Snoqualmie Firefighters were dispatched to a one vehicle accident. The vehicle had rolled down a street and back into a tree while the driver was outside of vehicle. Two patients were inside the vehicle and complained of no injuries.
March 1st
At 4:53PM Snoqualmie Firefighters evaluated a 2-year-old male that had fallen out of his crib. No injuries noted, and the patient was left at home with his mother.
At 5:46PM Snoqualmie Firefighters responded with other units to a 3-car-accident on eastbound I-90. Crews examined a patient who refused treatment.
March 3rd
At 9:08AM Snoqualmie Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a 6-year-old male experiencing respiratory difficulty. Dispatch advised crews to take respiratory precautions, so crews maintained infectious disease protocols during the incident. The patient was evaluated and transported to Children’s Hospital.
At 4:54PM Snoqualmie Firefighters responded to a reported 43-year-old male experiencing rapid heart rate, with history of the same. Crews evaluated the patient and transported him to Swedish Hospital in Issaquah.
March 5th
At 1:17PM Snoqualmie Firefighters were asked by the Police Department to treat a detainee who had hypoglycemic symptoms. The person was transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital.
At 1:05PM Snoqualmie Firefighters responded to a 36-year-old female fall patient. She missed a step and tripped, hurting her ankle. She was evaluated and left to wait for her husband to be transported to the doctor.
At 2:39PM Snoqualmie Firefighters treated a 23-year-old male seen the previous night of hyperglycemia. He stated he walked to Snoqualmie Police Department trying to get into his impounded car for his insulin. He was not allowed access to his car and 911 was called. He was found sitting – alert, but tired, skin normal. He reported a history of heroin use, but had not used for a couple of days. He requested transport to Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah for control of blood sugar.
March 6th
At 2:09PM Snoqualmie Firefighters were requested by the Snoqualmie Police Department for an adult male involuntary transport to the local hospital emergency room. He was determined to be a threat to himself.
At9:46PM Snoqualmie Firefighters were dispatched to a 13-year-old female having an allergic reaction to a new medication. She was evaluated and transported to Children’s Hospital in Seattle.
March 7th
At 1:43PM Snoqualmie Firefighters responded with other units for a trail rescue on Tiger Mountain. The caller advised her 8-month-old son had fallen and hit his head while on the trail. He was evaluated and went to the hospital in parent’s car.
At 5:46PM Snoqualmie Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a water leak inside of a residence on the Ridge. The caller advised she was house-sitting and there was an extraordinary amount of water coming from the ceiling. She did not know how to turn the water off. Crews investigated and appeared the water was either from an overflow or a broken drainpipe inside of the house. There was no running water or obvious source. The caller advised she had used the upstairs shower prior to the leak. Firefighters could not find any issue with water flowing or an active leak, however, there was significant drywall damage. Firefighters left the scene with instructions if the problem happened again and to contact their insurance company.
March 8th
At 12:20AM Snoqualmie Firefighters responded to a commercial fire alarm sounding at a Ridge business. Crews arrived to find the building not evacuated, however, bells and strobes were activated. They were met by a bartender who advised he believed there was no fire and that they “just smoked the place up.” Crews found no signs of fire and discussed with the staff about proper procedures for when the fire alarm goes off and how to evacuate and maintain control of patrons. System was reset and patrons allowed back into the facility.
March 9th
At 4:33PM Snoqualmie Firefighters dispatched with Snoqualmie Police Department for a possible body floating in the river. Police requested the Fire Department respond with technicians, a boat/kayak, and drone to assist with identifying if there was a body in the river. Crews assisted with drone operations and confirmed there was a human body in the river. The scene was turned over to Snoqualmie Police Department and the King County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit for investigation and recovery.
At 5:23PM Snoqualmie Firefighters treated a 24-year-old complaining of broken teeth after getting into a fight.
At 7:36PM Snoqualmie Firefighters returned to Snoqualmie River at the request of Snoqualmie Police Department for decontamination of the crews that performed the body recovery.
March 10th
At 5:48PM Snoqualmie Firefighters responded to a one car accident on Park Avenue. Patient refused care and left at scene with the police.
