Yes, local kids may have been devastated when iBurger closed its doors this month, but it looks like that spot won’t be empty for too long.
Last week a sign went on the door proclaiming a new restaurant is coming soon – Aahaar, “An Indian Eatery.” Over the weekend the new owners were hard at work revitalizing the old iBurger interior and one worker said they plan to open “next week.”
Two doors down another new tenant was readying his space for an October 1st opening – chiropractor, Dr. Jason Green. Dr. Green is new to the Snoqualmie area and is hosting a wine tasting at Uncorked Wine Bar to introduce himself to the community on October 4th from 6:30 – 7:30PM. Space is limited for the event so if you want to meet Dr. Green and hear about his new chiropractic office, please RSVP to 206-817-2161.
Down the block, a new physical therapy office has its name on the door now – Snoqualmie Physical Therapy. They have anther branch, North Bend Physical Therapy in North Bend. Mark Bromberg, MSPT, had the office open as of this morning, September 24th.
Both Dr. Green and Anna Sotelo, owner of Ana’s Family Mexican Restaurant, said a frozen yogurt establishment will be opening (possibly) in the former pet store space. This does not mean it is absolutely certain, but It seems the Snoqualmie yogurt shop rumors might be true.
Could this be a sign of an economic turnaround? Only time will tell, but in order for local businesses to survive, they need community support.

In order for a business to survive, the landlord needs to start charging a more reasonable rent. And, business owners need to be more realistic in their revenue and cost projections.
We can’t wait for the Indian food place to open and if a yogurt shop were to open they will make tons from us!! FroYo is my family’s favorite addiction!
