Monday afternoon, July 25th, at 4:30 pm, Eastside Fire & Rescue (EF&R) responded to a large brush fire on Eastbound I-90 near Highpoint Way.
According to witness reports, the fire started at about 4:15 pm on the freeway median.
The fire has been contained as of 4:50 pm, with crews from Bellevue and Snoqualmie Fire assisting.
Traffic is building in both directions. The left lane is closed on both East and Westbound. Use caution throughout the area.
