Snoqualmie Valley Early Election Results: Larson, Munden and Busby Leading

King County Elections counted a few more ballots on November 6th  and added them to the November 5th election results. On election night, about 25% of ballots had been returned county-wide, with the King County election2013Elections predicting about a 50% voter turnout once all ballots are counted in the coming weeks.

The only race that looks too close to call with the first results is the Snoqualmie Valley School Board District 4 seat between Marci Busby and David Spring.

Local Election Results so far:

Snoqualmie Mayor Race

With about 1,500 City of Snoqualmie ballots returned to King County Elections (out of 6,600 registered voters), incumbent Matt Larson is ahead of Ed Pizzuto in the early returns, with 74% of the vote.  Larson is seeking his third term.

Snoqualmie City Council

In the only contested city council race, Heather Munden leads Terry Sorenson with 71% of the vote

Snoqualmie Valley School Board, District 4

With about 5,100 ballots counted out of 23,000 registered Snoqualmie Valley School District voters, incumbent Marci Busby leads challenger David Springs 51.9% to  47.7%.

Snoqualmie Valley Hospital District

With about 4,700 ballots counted, Gene Pollard leads Kevin Hauglie 54.5% to  45.2% and Dariel Norris leads Dick Jones 66% to 33.6%.

Si View Metropolitan Parks District Levy

With about 2,700 votes counted, Si View Parks one-year operations and maintenance levy is passing with nearly 78% approval.  It needs 60% for super majority passage.
