The City of Snoqualmie said Thursday afternoon that roadwork on Meadowbrook Way SE by the Meadowbrook Bridge to repair a sinkhole was complete and the road is now open.
On Wednesday, July 6, 2016, the City of Snoqualmie said Meadowbrook Way SE was closed from Park St SE across the Meadowbrook Bridge to SE Reinig Road due to a sinkhole. This stretch of roadway is near Mount Si High School and Snoqualmie Elementary.
The city said it has placed detours for drivers around the sinkhole, which are as follows:
- Use SE Mill Pond Road to access SR 202 and downtown Snoqualmie
- Use SE Reinig Road to access North Bend
At this time the city said the duration of the closure is unknown and more information will be provided as the condition is assessed.
