Update Monday 4:22 PM: All lanes of Westbound I90 near MP 40 are now open.

At approximately 2:20 PM, Monday, May 23rd, on Westbound I90 near Milepost 40 there was an injury collision blocking the right two lanes.
A vehicle was traveling WB I90 in lane two, swerved into lane three overcorrected across lanes one & two and hit another vehicle parked on the right shoulder.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP) at 2:25 PM medical aircraft was en route to the collision scene. All lanes were blocked when the helicopter reached the scene to extract the injured party.
By 3:16 PM the medical airlift had cleared the scene. The right and center lanes will remain closed until tow trucks arrive to remove the vehicles.
Please exercise caution through the area.
