Alert! There’s no school on Monday. It’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Looking for something fun to do with the kids? Here’s an option.
Hope on the Hill Guild is organizing its 2nd annual Bounce for Hope benefit for Seattle Children’s this Monday, January 21st, from 9AM-4PM at the Kidz Bounce Issaquah/Preston location.
Admission to Bounce for Hope includes a 2-hour bounce session along with entertainment. Live entertainment features performances from kid favorites Brian Vogan and his Good Buddies, Caspar Babypants and Eric Ode. Kids can also have pictures taken with the real Lightning McQueen race car from the movie Cars. Other activities include face painting, balloon artistry and a variety of games. Food and beverage will be available on site for additional purchase.
Proceeds from event ticket sales and activities will be donated to Seattle Children’s uncompensated care program, allowing all children in our region to receive world-class medical treatment, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Last year, the event raised over $14,000 and Hope on the Hill Guild is optimistic about exceeding that number this year.
“This event is made up of everything we as a guild stand for; bringing families, community and children together, while supporting the patients and families of Seattle Children’s Hospital,” said Brooke Karr, event chair. “We are ecstatic that we can provide this unique fundraising opportunity for yet another year and be able to partner with such amazing sponsors, donors and volunteers.”
Tickets are $15 for ages 1 and older. Visit www.bounceforhope.com for additional event information or to purchase tickets.
