It’s been three weeks since Mt. Si High School had a home football game… so what else can I say except, “It’s about time!” Tonight’s game is the first of three straight home games.
There’s nothing like a home high school football game to bring three small towns together. Snoqualmie Valley is geographically one of the largest school districts in the state yet still has only one high school. That lends itself to great unity so come out and support the boys! The weather couldn’t be any better for a fall football game.
In case you’re driving through town this evening and cannot figure out why so many kids are dressed in camouflage… it’s because this home game’s theme is “camo-out.” The students give each home game a theme and then dress to support it. There’s no military convention in town… it’s just school spirit!
The opponent is Interlake High School. Game time is 7PM at MSHS. Following the game is the first high school dance of the year from 8:30 – 11:30PM. It’s a senior class fundraiser to help offset the costs of senior activities like senior prom, senior tea and class gift. As of yesterday they were still looking for chaperones…..
Go Wildcats!
