Around 8AM, Thursday, January 19, 2017 a multi-vehicle accident had westbound I-90 traffic backed up three miles to the I-
90/SR 18 interchange near Snoqualmie.
Drivers reported that possibly five vehicles were involved and initially the accident blocked all lanes, but vehicles were moved to the right soon after the accident occurred. According to one driver, once you pass exit 22 traffic, traffic is normal.
WSP Trooper Rick Johnson reported via Twitter that Eastside Fire responded to the scene. A WSDOT Incident Response team also responded and reduced the lane closure to just the right lane while crews helped those involved.
