Around 4 pm on Sunday, January 3rd, a natural gas leak was reported at Railroad and Newton in Downtown Snoqualmie.
Railroad Avenue was closed between River and Alpha.
Residents were told to avoid the area; evacuations were underway with Fire and PD.
The underground area of the leak was pinpointed, and soon after, some areas evacuated opened back up.
According to a Snoqualmie Police Department statement at 5:21 PM, Railroad Avenue is now open for travel. Newton between Railroad and Maple will continue to be closed as PSE works.
Everyone evacuated may now return to their homes.
