Around 10 AM on June 28th, a natural gas leak was discovered on North Bend Way.
The Snoqualmie Police Department and Eastside Fire & Rescue responded to the scene of the gas main break near the Sunset Motel near Bendigo Blvd and North Bend Way.
According to Nick Almquist of the Snoqualmie Police Department, a contractor hit a main gas line. The police evacuated the Sunset Motel and businesses between Sydney and Bendigo on North Bend Way.
The shutdown lasted less than a half an hour and all is back to normal.
