Bartell Drugs recently announced the official, grand opening of its newest store in the Snoqualmie area with a public Grand Opening slated for Saturday, August 5th.
The Snoqualmie store is located at 35013 Snoqualmie Parkway. The company says the location will considerably extend the business’s convenience to Eastside shoppers.
BUT, before all that official grand opening hoopla, the new Bartells will quietly open (i.e. soft open) on Sunday, July 23rd, testing out its various systems. Be warned, though, there is a small chance that everything won’t be fully stocked, but residents can still shop the store. [No hours were listed as of yet, but other Eastside locations generally open at 8AM or 9AM on weekends.]
“Bartells is very excited to expand further into the Eastside,” says company CFO Rob Jensen. “Our blend of convenience, service and a truly unique product selection, including many local brands, sets us apart.”
The new 14,678-square foot store will feature a full-service pharmacy and drive-up window, a growler fill-up area, digital photo processing center, and a hand-dipped ice cream foundtain.
According to a press release, product selections include a wide-array of popular cosmetics, personal care items, fresh foods and extensive beer, wine and spirit selection make one-stop shopping easy. Most notable is the large selection of locally made products including Oberto jerky, Joe Chocolates, a host of craft beers and regional wines, and a fun gift section.
There will also be a CareClinic by Kaiser Permanente that opens inside this location beginning on July 31.
The August 5th Grand Opening event will run from 8AM to noon, and will be celebrated with gift basket give-aways, product sampling, and free, customized Snoqualmie water bottles containing Bartell Drugs’ gift cards to the first 200 guests.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the support of the Snoqualmie community,” said Jensen. “We’re pleased that we have the opportunity to be part of this community and serve its pharmacy and retail needs.”

I think the last word in “hand-dipped ice cream *foundation*” is supposed to be “fountain”. A foundation of ice cream sounds a little squishy to me. 😉
Ha! I think Bartells missed that one in their press release. Thanks for the catch:)
