The City of North Bend will temporarily reopen its Small Business and Community Rapid Relief Program created to help small businesses and community organizations impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Over the summer, the City funded the program with approximately $183,000 in federal CARES Act funding. After working through the program process with 50 local grantees, a few recipients chose not to accept grants, and some were not able to fulfill all eligibility requirements.
Consequently, there is still a small amount of the allocated federal grant funding that can be offered to North Bend small businesses and community organizations.
The grant application acceptance period runs from October 26th through 5 PM, November 4th. The City will only accept fully completed applications, economic injury worksheets, combined tax excise forms and W9 forms from businesses and organizations that were not previously awarded grants through the Rapid Relief Program.
Reminder: An incomplete application is one that is missing any of the following required items:
- Signed (mailing address also must be filled out) application
- Completed Economic Injury Worksheet
- Downloaded Combined Excise Tax Forms from the Washington State Department of Revenue
- Completed W9 form
