It seems everyone around the Snoqualmie Valley wants to help the evacuees of the Cle Elum Taylor Bridge fire. For more information on the fast-moving wild-fire ravaging the Cle Elum area and needed donation items please visit our earlier story or the Living Snoqualmie Facebook page.
In addition to the donation drop-off site at the Hilton Garden Inn in Issaquah, there are some closer donation sites now added for valley residents. Volunteers will be picking up donations and driving them over to the Cle Elum. As of this afternoon here are a few:
Snoqualmie Falls Dental
Located on the corner of Snoqualmie Parkway and Douglas Ave near Gateway Gas and Deli and across the street from the Snoqualmie Police Station. Ask for Sara. Volunteers will be filling closed trailers and driving them to Cle Elum this weekend.
Encompass
A central valley donation drop-off location at 1407 Boalch Ave NW in North Bend. Volunteers will be collecting and driving donations over in the coming days.
Hair Ink
Located in North Bend
Home of Volunteer Bev Jorgensen
Bev is working with a volunteer group in Cle Elum which is utilizing her home as a drop-off and pick-up site for donations. Her home is located right off exit 32 of I-90. Her phone contact is 425-922-8645. The address is 13526 434th Ave SE.
Pet Place Market
Located in North Bend at 213 Bendigo Blvd North. They are collecting much-needed pet supplies. Visit their Facebook page for a list of needed items like pet bowls, pet food, buckets, animal crates.
Hoopers Deli
Located on the corner of North Bend Way and Bendigo Blvd in North Bend. Owners Ryan and Bambi are getting ready to take food over to hungry firefighters. They can bring along donations as well.
Sno Falls Credit Union
Accepting donations at all 4 Snoqualmie Valley branches. Check out the donations Facebook page for needed items.
