Save your appetite for Saturday morning and help Snoqualmie firefighters at their biggest fundraiser of the year.
The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association is holding it annual fundraising Pancake Breakfast on Saturday August 20th during Railroad Days. Firefighters will serve breakfast from 7AM to 11AM at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, 37600 SE Snoqualmie Parkway.
The non-profit association helps support SFD special equipment purchases, as well as community events, public safety, fire education, human services assistance during emergency situations, scholarships, historic preservation and maintenance of Snoqualmie’s original Engine 1 and charitable organizations within the community.
Firefighters will cook a pancake and ham breakfast – or if you choose, just grab some Krispy Kreme donuts, Starbucks coffee and OJ – then sit down with the family right in the station’s equipment bay and enjoy.
Cost: $5 for adults, $3 for kids (5-12) and under 5 is free. T-shirts and bike helmets will be available for purchase.
This year firefighters are continuing their commitment to going green and will again partner with Waste Management to make the Pancake Breakfast a “Zero Waste Event”. Firefighters will be making the most of recyclable and compostable items to minimize the amount of waste generated while serving hundreds of residents breakfast.
There will also be a raffle ($2 per ticket) for items from local businesses and a silent auction for larger items. This year some very special items are up for auction – including a golfing foursome at the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge, a deluxe overnight stay for 2 at the Salish Lodge with country breakfast, half day rally experience at DirtFish Rally School.
So come meet your Snoqualmie Fire Department Firefighters and EMT’s and take advantage of great photo opportunities for the family with firefighters and emergency vehicles.
