Friday, February 18th at approximately 7:06 PM, a 59-year-old male pedestrian was crossing westbound I90 from north to south, just west of Highway 18, when he was struck and killed.
A white Volkswagon traveling in the middle lane struck the man who came to rest in lane one. The driver of the vehicle pulled over to the left shoulder.
The driver was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
