Here are a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie during the past two weeks.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SNOQUALMIE PKWY & RAILROAD AVE SE, Snoqualmie
On October 14th around 9:40PM, police responded to reports of a suspicious pair of people with flashlights hanging out at the bottom of the parkway. According to the report, they were “picking up mushrooms, the edible sort.”

NOISE COMPLAINT | MOUNT SI HIGH SCHOOL, Snoqualmie
On October 16th around 8:00PM, a caller reported a noise complaint about construction at the high school. This is apparently an ongoing problem. Police spoke to the foreman, who had misread the statute and thought that 10:00PM was the cutoff for construction noise. Police informed him it was 8:00PM (10:00PM refers to non-construction nuisance noises). Appears to just have been a misunderstanding about the statute.

LURING | NORTH BEND LIBRARY, North Bend
On October 18th around 5:00PM, police were contacted by the parent of a 14-year old girl who was approached by a man at the library. The man reportedly tried to make her leave with him around 3:00PM, prior to police being contacted. Reporting person said the man was wearing an orange hat and driving a big truck. The child approached librarian for help after being approached.

THEFT REPORT | SALISH AVE SE, North Bend
On October 18th around 8:30PM, caller reported that packages were stolen off of their front porch. The reporting person had video of the person who stole them and their vehicle.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SE TERRACE ST, Snoqualmie
On October 19th around 4:00PM, a caller contacted police to report a series of suspicious packages being sent to her and her husband. The packages were addressed to them, but contained things they never ordered. Most recently, they received a new grill for a 2014 Impala.

DUI/PHYSICAL CONTROL | SNOQUALMIE PKWY & BETTER WAY LOOP SE, Snoqualmie
On October 20th around 12:30AM, a caller reported that they were almost hit by a car that was driving erratically, including going off the road and into fields. Police responded and arrested the woman behind the wheel for a DUI.

HAZARDOUS ROADWAY CONDITION | E 6TH ST & BALLARAT AVE N, North Bend
On October 19th around 10:15PM, a caller reported that there was a donkey walking down the middle of the roadway. It turns out there were actually two donkeys. They were wrangled and removed from the roadway.

COURT ORDER VIOLATION IN-PROGRESS | INFUSION, Snoqualmie
On October 20th around 10:50PM, a caller reported that a woman she had a temporary restraining order against was violating that order. The subject stood outside Infusion waving at the reporting person, who was inside, refusing to leave when people asked her to. The manager at Infusion let the reporting person stay in their office while waiting for police to respond. Police contacted the subject and took her to the station to get things sorted out.
