DUI
At 8:10PM while conducting a routine patrol of the Salish area, an officer saw a vehicle leaving the “closed after dusk” park area. The vehicle accelerated quickly as to get away from the officer. After running the registered owner, he came back with no license and expired ID. The officer conducted a traffic stop. Upon speaking with the driver, the officer spotted several open beer containers on the floorboard and inside the driver door. The driver smelled of alcohol and his actions were slow. He blew over three times the legal limit for alcohol. He was arrested for DUI.
February 7th
Yelling in the Bathroom
Around 4:30PM officers received a call from the Si View Park about a male yelling in the restroom. Officers arrived and contacted the male who advised he was having “bathroom issues” and was okay. The male declined medical attention.

Lost Ball Python Snake
Around 11PM, dispatch received a call from a hysterical subject in the 34000 block of SE Salal Street reporting that their ball python snake had gotten out of its cage and they didn’t know where it was. Officers attempted to locate the snake with no luck.

Offer Up Ad
At 8:45PM a female put up an add on Offer Up to sell her vehicle. She arranged for a male to meet her at a local coffee shop in the 200 block of W North Bend Way. After speaking with the male for a few minutes, he asked if he could take the vehicle to do a vin check before purchasing the vehicle. She agreed. The male never returned with the vehicle. It has been entered as stolen and is still outstanding at this time.
February 8th
DUI
At 1:30AM an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was sitting at a green light for several seconds at Meadowbrook Way SE and Railroad Ave SE. The female driver immediately got out of the vehicle and stated that she was lost. The driver also was talking loudly and slurring her words. When asked to do field sobriety tests, she agreed but stopped after the first test because “she didn’t think she could perform them.” She was arrested for investigation of DUI.

Suspicious Circumstance
At 5:20PM officers received a call at the North Bend Ace Hardware concerning two subjects inside a vehicle smoking something and passing it back and forth. Officers arrived and determined what was being passed back and forth was a cigarette.
