Here are a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie over the past couple of weeks.


DOMESTIC DISPUTE | HEALY AVE S, North Bend

On June 13th around 9:40PM, a passerby witnessed a man and woman in a possible altercation and called the police. Officers made contact with both parties who assured them that nothing physical had happened, they were just arguing about how to get more beer for the night.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | POST OFFICE, North Bend

On June 14th around 5:35PM, a man on a bike ran into a car in the post office parking lot. Aid arrived, evaluated the rider, and medically cleared him at the scene. The parties involved exchanged information.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SWENSON DR, Snoqualmie

On June 14th around 11:45PM, a caller reported two unfamiliar cars parked outside with engines running for approximately 20-30 minutes. Police made contact with both parties. The cars were not related— one driver was just leaving a friend’s home, and the other was sitting in their car eating cheesecake. Both parties agreed to move on.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | CARMICHAEL ST, Snoqualmie

On June 29th around 10:55PM, a caller reported a group of teens ding dong ditching. Two boys were caught and escorted home by police. The officers spoke to their parents who said they would deal with the situation.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | NORTH BEND WAY, North Bend

On June 29th around 8:30PM, a caller reported what she believed to be the sound of gunshots behind her apartment. Police did an area check and spoke to residents of the apartment complex who believed the sound was coming from Torguson Park. The officer checked the park but was unable to locate anyone.

POSSESSION/DISCHARGE FIREWORKS |141ST ST, North Bend

On June 29th around 10:10PM, police responded to reports of people setting off bottle rockets in their backyard. The officers warned them about discharging fireworks and they stopped.

TRESPASSING IN-PROGRESS | QFC, North Bend

On June 30th around 3:50AM, a known subject was detained by police after showing up to QFC very drunk and eating merchandise without paying for it. The food he stole was only worth $2.50 but he was trespassed from the location for two years and booked into King County Jail due to intoxication and being uncooperative with police.

DISPUTE | FALLS AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On June 30th around 9:30AM, a caller reported that his neighbor came into his house the night before, made a mess, and stole his bong. He informed police that the neighbor’s friend was the one who actually stole the bong, but he wanted to hold the neighbor responsible. When police responded, the reporting person ended up asking them to leave because he didn’t want to talk to them anymore.

JUVENILE PROBLEM | TORGUSON PARK, North Bend

On July 1st around 5:45PM, police responded to reports of more than 15 juveniles shooting off fireworks and aiming them at each other. A number of young teens ran off as the officer arrived, leaving expended fireworks and clouds of smoke behind. Other skaters stayed behind to help clean up the mess upon the officer’s request.

ANIMAL PROBLEM | CASCADE AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On July 2nd around 10:45PM, a caller reported that he had chased off a bear that was eating from his garbage cans and advised officers that it was now on the golf course heading toward the fifth hole.

DUI/PHYSICAL CONTROL | I-90 EXIT 25 WEIGH STATION, Snoqualmie

On July 4th around 9:15AM, police responded to an incident with a pretty non-responsive driver. The subject blew a .362 in the preliminary breath test and officers found two open bottles of vodka in the center console of the car. He was arrested and read his Miranda Rights, but later released from custody while in the hospital.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | MILL POND RD & REINIG RD, Snoqualmie

On July 4th around 3:55PM, police performed an area check after a car stopped in the middle of the roadway, threw out lit fireworks, and sped off quickly. They were unable to locate the subject.

POSSESSION/DISCHARGE FIREWORKS | COMMUNITY PARK, Snoqualmie

On July 4th around 11:50PM, police received multiple complaints about fireworks still being set off after the firework show had ended. A group was contact by police and given a verbal warning to move along.

POSSESSION/DISCHARGE FIREWORKS | TORGUSON PARK, North Bend

On July 4th around 7:20PM, police confiscated firecrackers and bottle rockets from two men setting them off in the park.
