WARRANTS/WANTED PERSON | NORTH BEND 76 GAS STATION
On May 19th around 8PM an officer observed a wanted subject in a pick up truck at the location. The office conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and took the subject into custody. A methamphetamine pipe was discovered in the wanted subject’s pocket, which was taken into police custody for evidence and charging. The subject was transported and booked on the warrant. An additional Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charge will also be filed.
WELFARE CHECK | BALLARAT AVE, North Bend
On May 20th around 8PM a welfare check was performed on a man “half in and half out” of the bushes on the side of the road. The officer woke the “partially in the bushes” man and discovered he was extremely intoxicated. The subject, a Seattle resident who drives a white BMW, asked the officer if he knew where his car was – to which the officer said he did not. The subject stated he thought his car was parked in a lot in Ballard – to which the officer responded and told the subject he was actually in North Bend. The subject was shocked, and did not know how he had gotten to North Bend. The officer advised the man to use his cell phone to call a friend to pick him up.
PIG PROBLEM | RAILROAD AVE & 90TH ST, Snoqualmie
On May 22nd around 4PM, a caller reported the “Petunia” the pig was on the loose and in the street… but he had the pig cornered at the bottom of the street since Petunia’s owner was not home. An officer responded, but apparently Petunia the pig found her way home to her nearby Snoqualmie residence.
RECKLESS DRIVING | EAGLES NEST, North Bend
On May 22nd around 5PM, police responded to a report of a speeding vehicle in a North Bend neighborhood. The late mode Tesla was reportedly being driven recklessly, with the driver going 50MPH while kids were on the roadway. The officer made contact with the driver at their residence and gave a verbal warning. The driver was very cooperative and advised the officer he would exercise more caution.
