WELFARE CHECK | SE CEDAR ST, Snoqualmie
On May 25th around 6:30PM, a caller requested an officer check on their neighbor’s home, saying the windows were open and music had been blaring for the past three hours, which was very unlike the neighbors. They had knocked, but no one answered the door. When the officer arrived the caller was on the phone with neighbor and it was thought that the cat had bumped into the stereo and turned it on. The officer checked the doors, which were all locked and determined “no one was located inside except the kitty.”
NOISE COMPLAINT | STONE CREEK CIRCLE, North Bend
On May 26th at 12:15AM a caller reported a loud party two apartments away where party-goers had set off a fire alarm by possibly smoking marijuana. The caller said they were being loud on the porch even after he asked them to quiet down. An officer responded to the juvenile party and notified the parents about it, which ended the gathering. The officer gave a verbal warning.
AREA CHECK | NORTH BEND TRAIN DEPOT
On May 26th at 2:20AM an officer responded to the train depot and found it unlocked. He contacted a man staying inside who had gained access through an open window. The mobile crisis until responded and took the man to a shelter. He was trespassed from the depot for one year.
RECKLESS DRIVING | SAFEWAY GAS STATION, Snoqualmie
On May 26th around 11:30PM a caller reported that a white convertible sports car was reportedly driving 100MPH. The caller said when he asked the driver to slow down, the driver reached into the glove box so he sped off. The caller said the vehicle then followed him around the Ridge for 15 minutes and was last seen pumping gas at Safeway, but had left about 10 minutes earlier. An officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
JUVENILE PROBLEM | ORCHARD DR & MEADOW DR, North Bend
On May 27th at 10:10PM, NORCOM reported to Snoqualmie Police that two juveniles were at Shamrock Park trying to build a bonfire. An officer responded to the two kids down by the river who were in the process of putting out a very small fire. The officer told them to put it out and not to start another.
SOLICITORS/PEDDLERS | SNOQUALMIE SAFEWAY
On May 28th at 6:30PM an employee reported a male in front of the store carrying a manilla envelope asking for money for college and other items. The employee said the man had been there two weeks prior and was asked to leave. The store just wanted him to move along and would request a trespass notice if he returned. An officer responded but the man was already gone.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | RAILROAD AVE & MEADOWBROOK WAY, Snoqualmie
On May 29th around 9PM an officer spotted a known subject pushing a stainless steel barbecue down the middle of Park Street and stopped to verify where it had come from. The man said the barbecue was free, but didn’t observe a free sign. The officer asked a resident about it, who said he’d observed the barbecue on the street for a couple of hours but didn’t know if it was free or who owned it. The officer took photos of the barbecue in case someone reported it missing/stolen.
