King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) detectives are still seeking tips from the public regarding a deceased newborn baby that was discarded near the side of North Bend Way on February 12, 2014, near the Snoqualmie Casino and the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital. Detectives are calling the baby, ‘Baby Kimball Doe,’ named after the Kimball Creek Bridge where the infant was discovered.
Detectives said the tips received so far have been checked out and have been ruled out in this case. Wednesday, though, they are releasing a photo of a burping pad (Chick Pea brand) that was also found with the baby, hoping again someone will recognize it. Last week detectives also released a photo of a distinctive Target brand towel found with the baby.
The investigation started on February 12th when a man walking in the area of the 38800 block of SE North Bend Way found a deceased baby near the side of the road. Detectives said the baby was a newborn, with the umbilical cord still attached.
