Ready to Channel your Inner Beast? ‘Beast Mode Challenge’ Heading to Snoqualmie, Encompass Getting into the Challenge Act

On Saturday August 15, 2015 Marshawn Lynch’s Subway Beast Mode Challenge happens right in the Snoqualmie Valley – at Dirtfish Rally School.

The event features a 3.5 mile obstacle-laden course, allowing people from all backgrounds and abilities to challenge themselves. Dirtfish will provide participants with 12 obstacles to overcome, including slides, walls, mud pits, hills, water and more.

The Challenge serves as a fundraiser for Lynch’s Fam 1st Family Foundation, which is dedicated to uplifting and empowering youth in the Bay Area and across the United States. The foundation’s mission aims to empower and educate young minds with the hope of building self-esteem and developing academic skills in underprivileged youth.

Local non-profit Encompass is also getting into the act for this year’s Beast Mode Challenge. Encompass volunteers will provide parking services for participants for the event. All parking proceeds will directly benefit Encompass’ 26 programs, which support Snoqualmie Valley children and their families through early learning and pediatric therapy services.

The Beast Mode Challenge provides participants the platform to test their own toughness, while also supporting the families served by Encompass and the Fam 1st Family Foundation.

The football-themed adventure run takes participants over hills and walls –  and a skittles ball pit for splashing. Participants can also land their own “end zone dive” as they launch across the finish line after completing the adventure run.

“You don’t feel in Beast Mode, it feels you,” Marshawn Lynch said in his January 2015 Skittle interview.  Lynch further explained, “Beast Mode is a state of mind, an inner super strength that inspires you to move faster, life more, jump higher and extend yourself past what you thought was humanly possible.”
