Here’s a friendly reminder that the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA is closed today, August 24th through Sunday, August 26th. All Snoqualmie YMCA members are welcome to visit any of the Y’s other 12 local branches during the closure for free. The Coal Creek and Sammamish branches are the closest locations to the Snoqualmie Valley.
The YMCA will spend the weekend refinishing the hardwood gymnasium floors, deep-cleaning all facility and program areas (including carpets) and as Snoqualmie Y Director Dave Mayer likes to call it, completing all their “honey-do list projects.”
Even though the facility is closed this weekend, they are still hosting an end of summer Pool Party and BBQ on Sunday, August 26th, from 1-3PM. There will be raffle prizes for both kids and adults like massages, hair cuts, coffee, Target gift cards, Birches Habitat gift cards and more. All raffle ticket proceeds will go to the Y’s Partners With Youth Campaign to support area families.
I need to have a little chat with Dave because apparently these are the pools for the party:)
