Snoqualmie Casino Recognizes Military with Valor Card, Donations in July 4th ceremony

The Snoqualmie Casino announced that it had launched a new program with a special ceremony held on Independence Day to honor and recognize active duty military members and retired service men and women.

During the ceremony the casino unveiled of its new Valor card, which gives cardholders special privileges for dining, entertainment and gift shop purchases.

“As a Native American casino, it is important that we honor our warriors. We can never thank our veterans and active military service men and women enough for their strength and dedication to our country,” said Brian Decorah, President and CEO of Snoqualmie Casino. “Our new Valor card gives us the unique opportunity to continue to recognize and thank these great men and women for their service.

During the ceremony, Mr. Decorah presented members of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe Color Guard, including the SnoqualmieTribal Chairman Bob de los Angeles, with inaugural honorary member Valor Cards.

Following the inaugural Valor card presentation, $500 donations were also presented to the Commander of Legion Post 79 and Chaplain of VFW 3436, Rocky Martinez, and to the former Commander and current Service Officer for VFW 3436 and Service Officer for Legion Post 79, David Wagonner, for their organizations.

Seattle’s Bagpiper Neil Hubbard concluded the ceremony with special renditions of “America the Beautiful” and “God Bless America.”
