Did you know? Washingtonians earn the 12th highest per-capita personal income in the country – and between 2015 and 2016experienced the fourth highest income growth? More evidence why housing developments continue to pop up at a fast pace in the Snoqualmie Valley.
A lot of people are moving to the state these days – so one local website decided to rank what cities might be the best place when it comes to setting down roots and starting a family.
It looks like three Eastside cities landed in the top five on a list of the Best Places to Raise a Family in Washington – with Snoqualmie coming in at number three – behind West Richland and Sammamish.
The list was put together by WalletHub, an online personal finance website, and was tabulated by comparing 21 key indicators “of a suitable environment for raising kids” among 111 of the biggest Washington cities.
Those indicators stretched across four categories: Family Life & Fun, Education, Health & Safety, Affordability and Socioeconomics and looked at things like median family income – to quality of school districts – to housing affordability.

[Note: It appears North Bend may have been too small to have been included in the ranking, as only city limit populations were used,]
