On March 5, 2019, Snoqualmie Police officers responded to an urgent care facility in North Bend, WA, regarding an unresponsive 6-month-old child who had been brought in, and medical staff were performing CPR.
Medics transported the baby to Seattle Children’s Hospital for further care. The baby was declared brain dead by physicians at Seattle Children’s and passed away a few days later. According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Report, the baby died of “…inflicted injury of the head and neck. The manner of death is homicide.”
This case remained on the minds of Snoqualmie Police officers and was re-opened following a review of the investigation documents in August 2022.
Following additional work with the King County Prosecutor’s Office, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, and Seattle Children’s physicians, probable cause was established by CSPA Major Crimes Detectives to arrest a male suspect, who was arrested by the Tacoma Police Dept. on March 9, 2023, and booked into the King County Jail.
This case remains under investigation as detectives and the prosecutor’s office finalize the details of this case. The Snoqualmie Police Department greatly appreciates the hard work of the King County Prosecutor’s Office, King County Medical Examiner’s Office, Seattle Children’s staff, and the Tacoma Police Department for their assistance.
The Snoqualmie Police Department will be the source of additional information on this case.

I’m deeply saddened by the things happening in society and am shocked to learn this happened here in our community. Thank you all for your diligence in holding the individual responsible for such a horrific and senseless crime against an infant.
Why did this name not get published. If there is enough evidence to arrest him for killing an innocent infant, do not protect him in any way, shape, or form. Majority of society does not accept any one who harms a child so publish his name while and let him get what is deserved.
The suspect hasn’t been formally charged yet. The name will be published after he is on the 14th. If not here likely in many other news publications.
