THEFT REPORT | 400 BLK E NORTH BEND WAY
Dude, Where’s My Car? – September 27, 2014; 2:5PM
A North Bend resident believes her vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of the North Bend QFC. She is positive this is where she left it, but is not at the location. Asks police to meet at her residence. After speaking with police, it was determined that the vehicle had actually been left in the Safeway parking lot. No further assistance was needed.

ALCOHOL-RELATED OFFENSES | DIRT FISH RALLY SCHOOL
Drunk at the Race – September 27, 2014; 5:36PM
It was reported that a group of six males who had been drinking were now beligerant and throwing things around near the tracks of Dirt Fish Rally School during a national Rallycross event. Police responded, and cited 616 and 641 infractions per local drinking laws.

FIRE DEPT ASSIST | 352nd AVE S, NORTH BEND
Want some S’mores? – September 27, 2014; 7:08PM
A person reporting states there are large plumes of black smoke seen behind their neighborhood. Eastside Fire & Rescue is also responding. Several people are trying to located the source of the smoke.
Police arrive and advise all other responders to disregard. Homeowner was having a bon fire and just toasting s’mores.

Paperboy Mistaken for Burglar – September 28, 2014; 3:52PM
A person reporting thinks someone tried to break into her home this morning. She heard a loud noise and saw two subjects leave in a vehicle around 4AM. She requests an extra patrol in the neighborhood.
After an over the phone “investigation,” officer determined that it was the paper delivery person for the Valley Record.

TRESPASSING IN-PROGRESS | EAGLES CLUB, Snoqualmie
Refusal to Leave the Bar – September 29, 2014; 6:55PM
A person reporting said there is a white male in the bar who refuses to leave. Police respond and take 59-year old man into custody. He had a trespass order on him and portable breath test measure alcohol level at .252. Man was booked into King County Jail due to his level of intoxication.

THEFT REPORT | NORTH BEND 76 STATION
Oops, Forgot to Pay – September 30, 2014; 6:53AM
It was reported that a dark-colored Toyota was last seen heading westbound on East North Bend Way after getting gas and not paying the $48.90 due at the 76 Gas Station. The employee thinks the person may have just forgotten.
Officers attempted to contact the subject at their home, leaving a contact request form on their door.

Packages Gone from Porch – September 30, 2014; 8:39PM
A person reporting said two packages were stolen from his porch within the last hour or so. The items were valued at $100.Police theft report was filed for UPS delivery. The theft occurred between 3:50PM – 5PM.

RECKLESS DRIVING | SE GRAVENSTEIN CT, Snoqualmie
Confrontation of Speeder – October 2, 2014; 7:30PM
A person called police to report a gray SUV was traveling eastbound on Snoqualmie Parkway at a high rate of speed, tailgating and swerving in and out of lanes. The person reporting was traveling the same direction, with the SUV ending up at the his neighbor’s house. The reporting person approached the SUV and spoke to driver. The driver’s mother ended up on the scene and became verbal. The situation escalated, but nothing physical resulted.
No police response. Just report of the driving and ensuing situation was made.

What was that Boom? – October 2, 2014; 6:10PM
A person reports they heard, what they believe to be a gun shot or explosion (not sure which) from inside an apartment where a couple and three children live. The person says other residents also heard the loud noise – and 8-year old came out of the apartment and was asked what happened, but went back inside apartment where a male voice could be heard yelling.
Police responded, contacted family and checked apartment unit. Nothing was observed. The mother stated she also heard the noise and looked out because she thought someone had knocked on door. Police checked other apartments, but found no witnesses to the noise or additional information.

Backyard Bike Taken – October 5, 2014; 7:45AM
Theft report was made for a Specialized Mountain Bike. Person says a bicycle was stolen from their backyard overnight.

DUI/PHYSICAL CONTROL | NORTH BEND QFC
Citizen Helps Stop Drunk Driver – October 5, 2014; 6:36PM
A person calls police to report a possibly intoxicated woman drove away in an older model Ford. Officers respond and located the vehicle on North Bend Way. The woman was taken into custody with a portable breath test stating 0.205 blood alcohol. She was arrested and booked into King County Jail for DUI. Police take subjects dog, who was also in the vehicle, to her residence.

Lock those Doors – October 6, 2014; 3:18PM
A person reports that her purse, with credit cards and money, was stolen from inside her vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked at the time of the theft.

Hungry Bear out for Dinner – October 7, 2014; 12:09AM
A person reports there are bears digging through garbage cans in the cul-de-sac and requested the police driver through the neighborhood. Officers responded to find bears had retreated into woods already. The reporting person already called and ordered a bear-resistant can from Waste Management.

DISTURBANCE | NORTH BEND TRAIN STATION
Transient Given Food, Bus Fare – October 7, 2014; 12:52PM
A person reports a transient man, in his 50’s and pulling a suitcase, was yelling at people. Officers respond to find no disturbance and describe the man as a “pleasant old-timer (transient) from Seattle enjoying life.” He was provided with food and bus fare and was back en route to Seattle.

NON-INJURY ACCIDENT | NORTH BEND 76 GAS STATION
Jeep Versus Business – October 8, 2014, 12:47AM
A person witness and reports that a Jeep Wrangler has hit the front of the 76 gas station. Officers respond. Suspect has an outstanding warrant from City of Shoreline and booked into jail. He was also charged with 1st Degree Negligent Driving.

Pants-less Man in Bushes – October 8, 2014, 1:05PM
A person reports that a man and woman are digging around in the bushes, possibly associated with a blue truck parked at the location. Person said the man had no pants on at one point, then put pants on, and had a machete and was “whacking wildly” at the bushes. Officers responded and contacted a man, who was found to be digging in the bushes for his lost wallet.

Ham Hocks on the BBQ inside Van – October 9, 2014, 1:37PM
A person reported there was a large yellow van in the Snoqualmie Community Park parking lot occupied by a man who appeared to be “cooking out of it.” There is smoke coming from the top of the van, possibly from a barbecue.
Officer responded and contacted the man who was using a custom wood stove to cook food inside a camper van while using a guest pass to take a shower inside the YMCA.

THEFT IN-PROGRESS | 470 E NORTH BEND WAY
Tip Jar Stolen – October 10, 2014, 1:32PM
A person reported that a tip jar was stolen from the counter of local business by a white female in her 30’s. No weapons were involved. The suspect just took the tip jar and left in vehicle with a man.
Officer responded. The incident was captured on video surveillance. A witness got the vehicle’s license plate number and identified the suspect by a DOL photo.
