Here are some calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie areas during the week of September 20th. Often times many of these officer responses don’t require flashing light and/or sirens – like locker room thefts, items stolen from cars at night and certain teenage activities.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | NORTH BEND BASKIN & ROBBINS

Reporting person requested police come to Baskin & Robins, saying he had been followed by two men to the location and felt they were trying to intimidate him. The two subjects were in Ford F150 out front. Officer responded and stated that the subjects requested trespass forms be served against each other in reference to an ongoing civil problem.

A vehicle prowl was reported to have happened overnight. A GPS unit and shotgun were taken from a black Dodge Ram

Three subjects were reported on the trail. Officer located the subjects, who were camping on the [Snoqualmie Valley] trail. They were advised that they cannot camp on trail [per city law] and were given a warning. Subjects packed up their stuff.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | NEWTON ST & MAPLE AVE, SNOQUALMIE

A suspicious bag was reported off the railroad tracks, up against a telephone pole. Reporting person thinks it is suspicious – a suitcase tied to telephone pole with a “bunch of stuff tied to it and spray painted.” Officer responded to check the area and stated it appeared to be just garbage, including two bike tires and clothes with the suitcase.

THEFT REPORT | SI VIEW METRO PARK, NORTH BEND
September 23, 2014; Reported at 3:50PM
Person reporting said within the past hour a theft occurred from the bathroom of the pool area at Si View Community Center. There were at least three victims. Officer responded and was advised to contact the Si View office. Items were taken from the locker room, including keys which were used to prowl cars. There was no suspect information given.

RECKLESS DRIVING | SE 12th ST & MALONEY GROVE, NORTH BEND

It was reported that 7-10 high school students were speeding up and down the street in “street race type vehicles with loud exhaust and squealing tires.” The reporting person stated this is an ongoing issue at nighttime and requested extra patrols when officers are available. Officer responded, but the vehicles were gone by the time of arrival.
