Snoqualmie Valley School District Substitute Teacher Officially Charged With Possessing Child Pornography

King County prosecutors have charged Snoqualmie Valley School District substitute teacher, Theodore Bernstein, with two counts of first-degree possession of child pornography for allegedly viewing and saving sexually explicit images on his computers.

The investigation of the 64-year-old North Bend man began when a link to a child pornography website was found on his Facebook page.  He was arrested on June 15th for investigation of possessing child pornography, but official charges were not filed at that time.

According to the Seattle Times, “He was charged Friday and is expected to be booked on $50,000 bail after his July 2 arraignment, court records show.”   The Times goes on to say court documents say Bernstein, who does not have a criminal record,  is ordered not to have any contact with minor children.
