A second head-on collision on Preston-Fall City Road in a four-day timespan sent three more people to the hospital.
Crews from EF&R, Fall City and Snoqualmie Fire Departments, along with Bellevue medics, all responded to the serious, two-car head-on accident on Preston-Fall City Road near SE 328th (the Green Bridge) around 10:45AM, Sunday, October 20, 2019.
According to Snoqualmie Fire Department Lt. Kelly Gal, there was significant damage to both vehicles. Two people in the car involved were extricated and transported to Harborview Medical Center. One person in the pickup truck was also extricated and then taken to Overlake Medical Center.
All were conscious when emergency crews removed them from the damaged vehicles. Two sustained critical, but not life-threatening injuries. The third person was not critically injured.
Gall said the King County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the cause of the collision.
On Wednesday, October 16th, a 68-year old man died and another driver was critically injured in a separate head-on collision near the intersection of Preston-Fall City Road and SE 68th Street – about one mile from Sunday’s accident.

The travel on this sketchy road used to be minimal.
We have grown too fast, without the roads to support the growth. The rates will only increase, due to irresponsible people in office, allowing irresponsible development.
With no increase in roads.
Look at the number of deaths on the HWY-18 interchange.
The irresponsible growth is pushing off the Snoqualmie Parkway.
Can you imagine when more homes and a convention center are done at the Tokul Roundabout?
How many people will be flying through Fall City late to work, or to the convention in Snoqualmie. And we are all avoiding traffic on the Ridge at rush hour.
