In a letter to TPC Snoqualmie Ridge members on July 27, 2013, President and CEO of BrightStar Golf Group, William D. Keogh, announced that his company (and their financial partner) was selling its ownership in TPC Snoqualmie Ridge.
The private golf, “Tournament Players Course,” is the only course carrying the TPC designation in the Pacific Northwest. That designation means the golf course was designed and constructed to accommodate the professional golf circuit and major professional tour events, including the annual Boeing Classic held each August in Snoqualmie.
Quadrant Homes sold TPC Snoqualmie Ridge to BrightStar Golf Group in 2008. The course opened in 1999 and was constructed in the middle of Quadrant’s master-planned Snoqualmie Ridge development.
The course was the first Pacific Northwest property for BrightStar Golf Group.
In his letter to members, Keogh stated that over the past few months BrightStar conducted a confidential process and identified Arcis Equity as a group that shared BrightStar’s “commitment to the member experience and vision for the future of the club.”
Arcis Equity acquired TPC Snoqualmie Ridge on July 26, 2013. BrightStar’s CEO added that Arcis has “both the experience and financial ability to continue the club on its current successful path.”
The Dallas, TX, equity group has experience in the ownership and management of country clubs and other leisure-related amenities.
BrightStar will be working closely with Arcis Equity in a management role over the next two months with the goal of a seamless transition. Arcis Equity will be holding a series of member meetings and focus groups during that transition.
