The Washington State Department of Transportation has a heads up for Snoqualmie Valley drivers for the next two days.
Contractor crews will be replacing the raised pavement markings on I-90 in North Bend between SR 202 (exit 31) and the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River near exit 32. (Exact mileposts are 30.5 to 31.6)
Two lanes of eastbound I-90 will close between SR 202/Bendigo and 424th Ave SE from 8PM, August 7th to 6AM August 8th.
Then two lanes of westbound I-90 in the same stretch (424th to SR 202/Bendigo) will close from 8PM, August 8th to 6AM August 9th.
Drivers should prepare for possible backups or slow downs on I-90 through North Bend.
Earlier this year WSDOT installed five new concrete panels and new rumble strips in the same stretch of I-90, greatly improving very warn out sections of the freeway.
