This Sunday, September 26, 2021, residents may notice participants of the Mt. Si Hill Climb Trail Run in downtown North Bend. The event runs from 5 AM to 4 PM, which includes time for set up and take down.
Approximately 150 runners are expected at the event that will utilize City sidewalks in the vicinity of W. 2nd Street and Main Ave N. The Mt. Si Hill Climb starts and finishes at Pro Ski and Mountain Service, located at 112 W. 2nd Street.
The route takes runners from W. 2nd Street to Main Ave N and then follows the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and the Mount Si Trail systems. [See Route Map below.]
The event does not include any City street closures, only the use of sidewalks and associated crosswalks until participants reach the trail system.
The Special Event Permit for the trail run was processed and approved by the City of North Bend, in association with Eastside Fire & Rescue and the Snoqualmie Police Department.
