Clothes for the Cause: Purge Your Home and Help Mount Si Seniors
Organizers of the Mount Si High School Class of 2014 Grad Night have a way for you to get rid of all those old clothes (*and textiles) in your home that are worn out, don’t fit, stained, torn, etc. What you ask. Who would want those things?
It’s a fundraiser called Clothes for the Cause and it’s happening this weekend, October 19th and 20th from 9AM – 3PM at the Mount Si Freshman Campus (formerly Snoqualmie Middle School) at 9200 Railroad Ave. It’s a pretty simple way to do a little fall cleaning and purge your home.
Most clothing and textiles are accepted, no matter their condition. Organizers say it’s a great way to keep some of those “not so perfect” items from ending up in area landfills. Simply fill your bags and drop them at the collection site parking lot.
Textiles include: CLOTHING any kind/any condition – stained, torn, burned, etc. SHOES any kind/any condition, single or paired; TOWELS bath, kitchen, rags; sheets, blankets, quilts; curtains/drapery; purses, belts – synthetic/leather; throw rugs (not carpet); pet beds; tablecloths, placemats.
Please mark all bags GRAD NIGHT 2014. If you have donations, but cannot make it down to the collection site email dbaum1@centurytel.net as organizers can pick up your donations.
