Winter Train Rides Begin at the Northwest Railway Museum

The Northwest Railway Museum is happy to announce that scenic winter, socially-distanced, train rides through the upper Snoqualmie Valley will begin on Saturday, January 16, 2021.

This is the first time in the Museum’s history that visitors can enjoy a 90 minute train excursion onboard historic rail equipment along the Museum’s 5.5 miles of track during the winter months of January – March. The ride includes the ever-popular scenic view from the top of Snoqualmie Falls, where guests can enjoy the river valley’s breathtaking sight below.

Winter train rides will be available on Saturdays from January 16 – March 27 (weather permitting.) Passengers can choose to begin their ride at either the North Bend Depot (205 E McClellan Street, North Bend, WA 98045) or the Snoqualmie Depot (38625 SE King Street, Snoqualmie WA 98065). The train will depart from the North Bend Depot at 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:30 PM. Snoqualmie Depot departures are at 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:00 PM. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Ticket prices are: Adults $20.00, Children (ages 2-12) $10.00, Seniors (62+) $16.00.

To ensure a safe experience, limited capacity and social distancing of seating along with frequent cleanings will be performed. All visitors 2 years of age and older are asked to wear masks, and pursuant to state law, masks are required for all visitors 5 years and older.

About the Northwest Railway Museum
